Love this set. They feel heavy duty & I love the way they look (so does my husband). The only problem I had, was one of the mugs were broken when I opened the box....but as a coffee drinker, I already have quite a collection of mugs, so it wasn't a big deal to lose one ( not worth the hassle to replace it, specially since I bought 2 sets, still leaving me with 7 mugs.)
I bought two of these sets. One set had several pieces with problems so I had to exchange it for another set. I'm not used to the large size of the plates and bowls. They don't fit nicely in my dishwasher which is my biggest complaint. Other than that I am happy with the purchase.
The only thing I would say is the dinner plate is way to large! We use the dessert plate to eat on. Maybe this is why the US is obese. Dinner plates are oversized and people fill them up!

My Rachel Ray stoneware dinnerware is so much more robust and prettier than a ceramic set of dinnerware I had purchased about a year ago. The ceramic dinnerware seemed to chip so easily. A friend sent me the sale ad for the Rachel Ray dinnerware. I was happy with the sale price, the free shipping and I love the quality and attractiveness of the dinnerware.
