Chipped Handle

My pot came to me with a chip in one of the handles, down thru the coating and paint, to the point of being rusty. Returning for another chance, we'll see if the next one comes better or worse. Other than that it looks like it would be a great pot to cook in, when I finally get the opportunity.

This is a beautiful piece of cookware - very well made. If I were able I would have it out on display.

After buying a hand blender for my daugher for Christmas, I wanted to be certain she had a large pot to make soups with it. I saw this one and thought it made the perfect companion to the blender. It's sturdy, very red and invites a cook to fill it with yumminess!

Loved the size of the pot. Did not like that it is not dishwasher safe and that I have to be very careful with cooking in it on my ceramic top stove. Had I known that cooking at a high temperature in it could ruin my stove and cause me to have to replace my stovetop, I would not have bought it. So, I will probably use it less than I anticipated.

Sphagetti sauce burned while simmering on the "low" temperature setting. Very dissatisfied with this stockpot.

This is my second RR stockpot. I had issues with the prior one which is why I purchased this new one. (The older one I had for years and the "issues" I think were isolated to mine.) I love her products and would recommend them to family and friends.

I find the red 12 quart stock pot a great value; however, I am very disappointed that there are very few options between the 6 quart and 12 quart options!!! Although I selected that I am a 'Family' cook, my son is a culinary chef out of Johnson and Wales University and he agrees that the Rachael Ray store does not make/sell enough options for even the "family cooks"!!!

The stockpot is a great addition to any kitchen. It allows that extra room when making pasta, soups, etc. It is a must have piece! Heats evenly and cleans easily.
