I have been a Pampered Chef person for years and was even a sales rep, but you sure have won me over with these tools. They are great, very sturdy and never get hot I love them and even my sister was impressed.
These are wonderful, I loved them so much I ordered them in the eggplant (purple) set too. I love the slotted spoon, and the tongs they are amazing
Why or why did I not clean out my old wooden cooking tool sets sooner? I probably thought that I couldn't justify modernizing my cooking tool sets. Thank goodness I am a sucker for a sale and Rachel had this tool set marked down. I really got an outstanding bargain in price as well as in product. I love, love, love this Lazy Tool Set consisting of three (often used) utensils. I would recommend to others to "stop living in the past" and follow me into the "here and now".

I usually love all Rachel's products, but this one had a problem. The tongs (pinchers) in the set are not flexible enough. I'm assuming it's because it is plastic. But when I tried to use them to turn chicken in the pan, it was very difficult because you have no flexibility as to how wide the tongs can open up.
The two spoons are fine and I like how they rest on the side of the pan. However, the tongs are just useless. You have to use your fingers to spread them open in order to grab something. Then, they slip off of almost everything I have tried to pick up. What a terrible waste of money for those. I am totally disappointed with them.
I don't now how I cooked without them. Every house needs at least one set. The colors are bright and pretty. The thickness and weight of these tools will make them last for a long time. Loved them so much I brought a set for my daughter's birthday.
This year we decided to replace our old cookware and utensils with Rachael's products because we like what she offers over other companies. We started with a starter set of pan's from Sam's Club and then QVC had a set with the 2 oval pans I really wanted. That day we also added the ceramic cookware. Joann always says she wants the utensils that hook to the pan when you use them. So we now have those and the tongs. We donated our old pans to help others and gave almost all our tongs and other utensils to friends too. We really love everything we have received and plan to keep on adding more as we save the money to get it. Everything is top quality and super well built and worth every cent you pay for them!
love the idea of not having a spoon rest on my glass top stove. Some pans (NOT RR) do not hold the spoon out of the food. Other than that highly recommended .... PS; Would have ordered more but the shipping charges were more than the savings on the products.... Most companies will charge on the total order..not the individual items....
I don't like how heavy these are - they just seem awkward to me, but I love how I can rest them on the pan. I'm still struggling to get used to the tongs - just so heavy to me - but they definitely seem durable because of that, so I think, all in all, I like them.
