this skillet works well when you have a large pan on one burner and need a narrow pan next to it. Also great for using in a camper being the stoves are so small.

I wasn't pleased with this pan only because I did not see oval, I was looking for a round 11.5 in. pan. Nothing wrong with pan just not what I wanted so I gave it as a birthday gift.

I LIKE THE SIZE OF THE PAN, IT'S A LITTLE BIGGER THAN A SMALL ROUND PAN. I COOK EGGS, OMELETS AS WELL IN THIS PAN. NOT JUST FOR SAUCES. FOR THE PRICE I WISHED IT WAS A BIGGER PAN. IT LOOK LARGE ON THE COMPUTER.

Perfect for a recipe wherein you are serving a meat with reduction sauce. After the meat is seared and removed - - and the sauce is reduced - - you can pour it over the meat directly from the pan because of the awesome little spout.
