I had searched and searched for a butter dish..this one was a great color and when it arrived I loved the finish! I am ordering it in another color too! Compared to what I have found in the stores I have shopped at..Cooking.com has the best selection by far and, I don't even have to leave the house! Prices are great too! Thanks!

The color is outstanding, but it is larger than I anticipated, and it does have some weight to it. Over all though it is a beautiful dish.

very good quality and the color is true to the picture it is larger than some. The stoneware is heavy and detail is good. i never realized how hard they are to find until i broke my old one
