I have looked high and low for the right size of individual casserole dishes. These are just right. Not too big, not too small. The price is amazing, can't be beat. I bought extras in case I break one. It's low-cost enough to do so. I cannot imagine using anything smaller to serve for guests. Food fits comfortably in these, with just the right amount of negative space on each side to add extras. For instance, made individual lasagna, and then I spooned in a few meatballs in same dish when serving. What's perfect about this for serving a dish like lasagna in particular, is that you do not have to let it sit and set before cutting into it. You serve it immediately from the oven, piping hot. That's a great advantage over large lasagna pan style cooking. Just buy it, you'll love it too...and these dishes are just big enough to use for other uses--serving side dishes and appetizers, like sliced celery, carrots and olives for munching. I'm getting the smaller sized ones for au gratin baked fruit desserts. A great item.

I love the fact that you prepare the meal, cook the meal and serve the meal all in the same dish. Everyone seems to like the fact that they get their only personally prepared dish.

I purchaced the larger oval baker dishes becuase I had previously purchased the smaller ones and made so much use of them. Great product!!

These are wonderful! Not only are they pretty enough to serve food in, they maintain the heat nicely for slow eaters!

These are the best all around everyday dish anywhere. Extremely versatile - they go from the oven/microwave to the table and they are even good for leftovers.

I had an ideal of the size and it was smaller than anticipated.
