I used thermometer for grill since I didn't like it in the kitchen oven. It was too bulky. Works well for the Weber grill when I'm roasting meats & vegetables.

Works as described, has made smoking meats a lot easier as the thermometer on my smoker was very inaccurate.

I had no idea my oven temperature was off until I used the oven thermometer. My turkey came out better than I ever cooked it! And at a lesser temperature.

This oven thermometer has nice big numbers that are easy to see. It seems to be very accurate in gauging temp in oven. At least my cookies didn't get burnt since I got this and realized my oven runs hot.

i've used this thermometer for years and was delighted to find that it was still available through cooking.com! none of the local dallas kitchen stores carried this model- which is a shame!

Only thermometer we could find with 3 crucial features: F + C temperature markings, large numbers, hook for hanging. We used one of these for years with no issues until we dropped it by accident. Hope the new one is as good as the old.

The Taylor thermometer has a 3-inch face with large numbers.
A great improvement on our old dinky, dirty TruTemp.

I bought this for my husband since is does the majority of the cooking. He loves it and now he never has to wonder if the oven temps are accurate or need to be adjusted. Great product for the price!

With each use, the thermometer sticks and does not return to the start until completely cool. Even then it takes a light tap. When changing temperatures, I must wait for the thermometer to cool, and then start over. This is a pain when I am cooking many different items, one after another in one day. I will be returning this item.

Product was well rated by Cook's illustrated, and I found that it worked well. I was able to do some checking with a calibrated temperature probe, and this was very accurage.

Large numbers make it easy to read. The flat base is sturdy so the thermometer stays in place.
