This is a great little iron. I originally bought it to make stroopwafels, but was told that the grooves are too deep and wrong to make an official stroopwafel. But the indicator light works like a dream (my first week of use I made 5 recipes), not once was anything overcooked and I'm excited to try some of the recipes that were included. I can't imagine how anyone ever had any problems with this.
This product was recommended to me by a friend. I was unable to find it locally. Fortunately, I did see it on Cooking.com and purchased it. It arrived in a timely manner and was everything I knew it would be. I will be getting another one as a gift for my daughter. Also, the cleaning is very easy and takes up very little storage space. A great value!!
Easy to use and fairly easy to clean, especially if you've ever used one of the older pizelle irons. Our Italian Club recently made thousands of pizzelles in one day using only 8 pizzelle irons, so you can see the ease of use. Everyone raved about the finished product.

I grew up with a grandmother--believe it or not since I am Irish--who made pizzelles every Christmas. I continued the tradition and my son loves them. I was given this pizzelle maker as a Christmas gift and I am so impressed with it. The quality of the maker is solid yet light weight. The design is delicate and pretty. I am very happy with it.
Having eaten many Pizzelles over the years, I decided to make them myself. This thing is pretty easy to use. You pour the batter in the center and close the top. Wait for it to turn green and pull them off. Make sure you only pour it in the center. You don't have to spread it out. The weight of the iron will spread it out as needed. It doesn't take long at all. I do a lot of cooking and baking. I found that having a brush and melted butter next to the iron with an occasional brush of the iron will keep the pizzelles from sticking. Now that I've conquered Pizzelles, I will make some cannolis. It's easy and fun. If you are thinking about purchasing this item - just go ahead and do it. Happy pizzelle making! :-)
For Many years my family has made pizelles for special occasions but since the older generation has now passed on and for some reason beyond my understanding most of those recipes did not get passed down to the next generation. With the pizzelle iron some pf those dreams come bacl to me every time I use it. I only wish there were more magical things in this world to pass down the old world recipes from sicily and naples were my grandparents are from.
THANKYOU FOR MY NEW IRON
I would recomend your products to everyone I know and everyone on my facebook page

This iron works great, makes great cookies, and is easy to clean. The only drawback is that it is smaller than I envisioned. I guess that is one of the problems with online buying. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.
It looks like Cuisinart is the only company that makes pizzelle irons these days. I ordered this and made a batch of pizzelles. They are a little smaller than the ones my previous iron made but in these days of super-sizing it's probably a good thing. The pizzelles came out of the iron easily. The clamp works fine--an earlier review said that it had broken on their iron, so I probably handle it a little more gently than I normally would have. All in all I'm pleased with my new iron.
This pizzelle maker is cute, small, and it is very speedy. The only criticism I have of it is that the green light sometimes fails to change to red when you lower the lid to cook the pizzelle. Other than that, it works great if you follow the instructions. I tried the classic pizzelle recipe and used vanilla flavoring; they were a big hit. Next time I make them I'm planning to use the chocolate recipe. I'd recommend this pizzelle maker to anyone who likes making tasty cookies quickly and easily.
