When you're craving a pizzelle, nothing else will do, and the 1,000-watt Cuisinart Pizzelle Iron helps you satisfy your craving without leaving home. This specialty appliance bakes up two thin and crispy 4-inch pizzelles in about 60 seconds, which you can eat alongside a cup of tea or use as a wrap for a scrumptious cannoli dessert. You can even create pizzelle cones for a scoop of ice cream, gelato or sorbet and enjoy a cold summer treat the way Italians do. Each pizzelle you create will have a pretty pattern that ensures your dessert looks as good as it tastes, and the entire unit locks closed to prevent it from being opened before the cooking cycle is complete. The convenient slider on the front lets you choose from five different browning levels, so you can tailor each cookie to your specific preferences, and indicator lights let you know when the appliance is ready for use and when the pizzelles are done. Because the plates have a nonstick coating, it's easy to remove each pizzelle without breaking or tearing it, which is essential when you're using it as a base for other desserts. The plates reheat quickly, so you can make multiple pizzelles in a row without having to waste time waiting for the unit to get to the right temperature again. Once you're done baking, you can wipe the nonstick surface clean with a damp cloth. Stand the unit on its side to store it in any cabinet. A limited 3-year warranty protects this appliance from defects.

Features:

  • Makes 2 pizzelles at a time
  • Nonstick plates
  • Locking lid
  • 5 settings for browning
  • 1,000-watt unit
  • Limited 3-year warranty
  • Stands upright for storage
  • Model No.: WM-PZ2
  • Origin: China
  • Volts/Watts: 1000 watts.
  • Warranty: Limited 3-year warranty

  • my family tradition

For Many years my family has made pizelles for special occasions but since the older generation has now passed on and for some reason beyond my understanding most of those recipes did not get passed down to the next generation. With the pizzelle iron some pf those dreams come bacl to me every time I use it. I only wish there were more magical things in this world to pass down the old world recipes from sicily and naples were my grandparents are from.

    THANKYOU FOR MY NEW IRON

I would recomend your products to everyone I know and everyone on my facebook page

  • Great Iron

This is a great little iron. I originally bought it to make stroopwafels, but was told that the grooves are too deep and wrong to make an official stroopwafel. But the indicator light works like a dream (my first week of use I made 5 recipes), not once was anything overcooked and I'm excited to try some of the recipes that were included. I can't imagine how anyone ever had any problems with this.

  • This product was recommended to me by a friend. I was unable to find it locally. Fortunately, I did see it on Cooking.com and purchased it. It arrived in a timely manner and was everything I knew it would be. I will be getting another one as a gift for my daughter. Also, the cleaning is very easy and takes up very little storage space. A great value!!

  • Quick and easy to make great treats

The Pizzelle maker I had originally wanted was out of stock, and after reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical about buying the Cuisinart Iron because some people had negative comments about it not staying non-stick, taking too long to make a batch of Pizzelles becasue you can only make 2 at a time, and that the light didn't function as they had expected.

I had to have the machine for a Christmas project so I went ahead and ordered it anyways. I'm glad I did, because I love this machine. It is very very easy to use, and although you can only make two pizzelles at a time, making an entire batch goes relatively quickly. I certainly would recommend the Cuisinart Pizzelle Iron, and if you follow the directions correctly you shouldn't have any of the problems that were listed in the negative reviews.

  • Perfect cookies every time!

I have been wanting to puchase a pizzelle maker for several years now but have been intimidated to do so. I wasn't sure how difficult or easy using this machine would be. I also wasn't sure what to expect for clean up. I finally treated myself and bought one to make cookies for the holidays. Pizzelle's are my FAVORITE treats so I was excited to say the least. It was especially fun this year because my little girl is 2 and we were able to start a new tradition!

The machine is fantastic. It is so unbelievably easy to use and the clean up is a synch! Hands down it's the easiest appliance to opperate in my kitchen and the one that yeilds the tasties results. My daughter loved to help me spoon the mixture on the plates and shut the iron to make the cookies. So easy even my 2 year old could just about do it herself! We really enjoyed making these treats together. We enjoyed eating them even more!

    I recommend this product.

  • I was trying to order a Krumkake Iron and mistakenly thought this would be one as the one I wanted was not in stock. It may be a good Pizzelle iron but it is too small for Krumkake. The automatic temperature control is good and the pizelle cokies are nicely baked. The error was mine in assuming it was also a Krumkake iron. Perhaps it should have been listed separately and not mixed in with other Pizelle and Krumkake irons to avoid errors like mine.

  • Indicator Light

The light does not operate as it should. After preheating, it does turn green to indicate the press is ready to be used. After pouring the batter in, light turns red . The light stays on red and I have to guess when the pizzelle is ready by opening the press. Light does turn green intermittently but never to indicate pizzelle is ready to be taken out.

  • I made a different recipe in the Pizzelle, something that I can eat since I can't have flour or other good foods. I use almond flour and it seems to stick in the little details of the lids. I think if I actually used the right batter it would work just great. I have never had one and am just playing with it. Warms up fast and stays hot. Lights seem to work and the color selector, really does do the color you select (even with the wrong batter in it) Very nice.

    I recommend this product.

  • I really like this brand and have other products, so I knew what to expect. The iron worked like it said it should and was easy to use. The cookies was not as perfect as the pictures, but maybe with more practice they will look just as pretty.

  • I am not satisfied with this product. Previously, I owned a Villaware Pizzelle Iron and it was superior to the C usinart. This one does not make as nice of cookies as the 5" Villaware.

  • Excellent Product. The only thing that I find is that it is almost impossible to make the perfect Pizzelle. I trim mine with a scissors so they look nice. I've made two batches and just received it yesterday. Very Easy. Very Neat. Excellent. The recipe in the pamphlet that it comes with says each batch makes 36-40 Pizzelles and each batch of mine made 24. I love the product.

    I recommend this product.

  • Used a antique pizzelle iron for years and finally decided to buy a new one. I still like the old one better, but I think this will grow on me. It is a little harder to clean because there are more places for batter to get in, and I have had a hard time getting a perfect pizzelle color. I have only used it once, so it will probably get better with seasoning from use.

    I recommend this product.
