Review of this Pizzelle Iron

by David, VA
December 8, 2012

Having eaten many Pizzelles over the years, I decided to make them myself. This thing is pretty easy to use. You pour the batter in the center and close the top. Wait for it to turn green and pull them off. Make sure you only pour it in the center. You don't have to spread it out. The weight of the iron will spread it out as needed. It doesn't take long at all. I do a lot of cooking and baking. I found that having a brush and melted butter next to the iron with an occasional brush of the iron will keep the pizzelles from sticking. Now that I've conquered Pizzelles, I will make some cannolis. It's easy and fun. If you are thinking about purchasing this item - just go ahead and do it. Happy pizzelle making! :-)

best pizzelle iron

I grew up with a grandmother--believe it or not since I am Irish--who made pizzelles every Christmas. I continued the tradition and my son loves them. I was given this pizzelle maker as a Christmas gift and I am so impressed with it. The quality of the maker is solid yet light weight. The design is delicate and pretty. I am very happy with it.

This product is easy to use with the "stop" and "Start" lights. It does take a little practice, but I used it to make canoli and they turned out very nicely.
