and six-month intervals. Choose your preference and we'll send out the shipments
on that schedule automatically. You can return and modify your subscription schedule
online at any time. You'll only be charged for each order when the item is shipped.
The amount charged each time will reflect the price of the item on the day the order
is placed, plus any applicable sales tax.
Update or Cancel at Any Time
Simply login to your "Manage Recurring Orders" page in Your Account at any time
to modify the frequency of your shipments, the quantity of your subscription, and
billing or shipping address and payment methods. Changes will take place immediately
and will be applied to all unshipped orders associated with your subscription.
You read it right: If you find an item you bought with us sold for less somewhere else, we'll match the item price!
How It Works
If you should find a lower advertised price on an in-stock, identical item from one you purchased from us, you can submit a Price Match request up to 14 days after your purchase.
Forward your order confirmation email or send an email to email@example.com and include a link to the retailer's website promotion with the lower price. Please include "Price Match" in the subject line of the email.
Once approved, the price match will be calculated and refunded based on the item price. (Note that some exclusions may apply to keep things on the up and up.)

With this Polder Preprogrammed Digital Thermometer, you never have to worry about whether the meat you feed your family is cooked thoroughly and safe. It features preset cooking temperatures that are recommended by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), so you automatically know what temperature your chicken, pork, beef or fish should reach when done. Undercooked meat can result in dangerous food-borne illnesses, so this thermometer is a must for discerning cooks everywhere. The way it works is simple. Just insert the prong into the recommended part of the meat you're cooking. The long wire attached to the probe stays connected outside the oven to the thermometer's display housing, so you can easily check the progress of the meat while it cooks without opening the oven. The probe and wire together measure 43 inches, which leaves plenty of length for you to position the LCD screen outside your oven. You can also mount the display on the wall or front of the stove — it has a magnet on the back, so just attach it to any metal surface. It has a temperature reading range from 32 degrees F to 392 degrees F. The flip-style top folds down when not in use, and the unit is powered by batteries for ultimate portability.

Overall this is a great product that keeps very accurate temperature and works great in the oven. Be aware that the cord is delicate and does stop working if it overheats. It is not the unit that is broken, but the prode. You can buy replacement probes. Do not put in the dishwasher!
This product used to be sold by Pampered Chef. They quit carrying it and I don't know why. It is a good digital thermometer. I mainly use it for making fudge. I have also used it for cooking a roast in the oven. The thermometer remains in the roast, the oven door will close and the temperature is registered on the counter - complete with an alarm when done. Great product. Lots more expensive on Ebay.
if you are a cook like me that is doing ten things at once- then this is the thermometer for you. it can be programmed very intuitively. taking the temp of things has improved my cooking. pricey but worth it.

works great, but absolutes vs range
I like the simple features, however I do have a problem with the preset temperatures. The Turkey setting is about 5 degrees too high. Since most temperatures are set within a range rather than at absolute temperatures I would like to see the ability to set within the range for each meat setting rather than the absolutes.
I was looking forward to getting it, but all it registered for me was HI. It alarmed after my chicken was in the oven for 10 minutes. Obviously a chicken is not cooked after 10 minutes. I went back to my quick read to finish the meal.
I had one of these before, used it for all roasting. This one is a bit different because you can set it for "beef med" or "beef well", etc. No looking up the right temperature. I had put the probe of the old one in some candy to check the accuracy of my candy thermometer, DON'T do this, it ruined the probe, so now I have 2 thermometers and one probe. Polder makes a good product and your meat will come out perfect, just the way you want it.
Takes a little getting used to compared to the simpler Polder thermometer. I like the fact that there is an area to select my own temperature. I do feel that there could be a second or third choice of temps in the preset beef and pork setting. Maybe I need to adjust the doneness button but I am still experimenting with it , The downside is when you are cooking a 5 pound beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner can't afford to experiment. Literally.
I kept thinking roasting a 14-lb turkey for the first time is a daunting task so I started collecting recipes and tips 4 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. I also bought all the paraphenalia including this wonderful thermometer...anything to make the task easier. Remember, this is my first time to roast a turkey and I followed all the instructions. My husband read the instructions and I executed them. It was very easy to use. Once the probe was in the thigh, the thermometer gave it a read. We put the turkey in the oven and my husband had fun watching the temperature go up gradually and he kept reporting to me. The turkey turned out perfect. Our friends were very impressed.
The programmed thermometer is easy to use with a large and easily read field. The length of the wire between the probe and thermometer is more than adequate for use either in an oven or with an outdoor grill. The ability to override the preset temperatures is a large advantage with this thermometer. I would not be without this thermometer.
We used this thermometer for the first time and were pleased. Our turkey was cooked to perfection and the alarm feature was great by alerting us when the bird was nearing completion. I love the magnet back so I can mount it to the surface.
