Insert the cooking probe of this Thermometer into your meat, and
monitor the inner temperature as it cooks in the oven. A digital readout
displays the cooking temperature as the meat cooks and an alarm sounds when
the desired temperature is met. There's a setting for beef, lamb, veal,
pork, turkey and chicken with a well done, medium and medium rare choice.
There is also an option to manually program the desired temperature (from 32
to 392 degrees Fahrenheit). The probe and wire measure 3 feet, and the
monitor lays flat or tilts up for an easier read. The thermometer has an
On-Off switch and is powered by one AAA battery. Not intended for use with BBQ.

I've had a couple of disasters with prime rib and couldn't afford another...this thermometer works great.

great product, easy to use. If I had just one complaint it would be that I wish it came in a container, It is not an easy peice to store.

Takes a lot of the guess work out of cooking. I also use it in the BBQ grill and it is perfect.

Overall a nice, well designed thermometer. Easy to use, lots of useful features and seems to be accurate. I wish swivel display was a bit more sturdy but it hasn't given any problems.

I have used the programmed digital thermometer twice and it made roasting a turkey so easy. It took out the guesswork so I wasn't wondering if the bird was ALMOST done, I could see what the temnperature was. The turkey cooked to perfection. An excellent product that I would highly recommend.

Works as described. I have had three other brands over twenty years that were just overused and wore out. Expect this one to do just as well. More "bells and whistles" on this model than the set a temperature and wait for the alert on past ones. Like the choose the taste (rare-well done) feature and type of meat feature. Helps me think less about dull things. Pre-alert tone is just as nice as the three-minute rest alert. Really like it.

I've used this product twice. It could not be easier to use. I used it for a turkey and then on prime rib. Both times the meat was cooked to perfection. I won't be roasting anything without it ever again.

Works great and is very accurate-you can also change the pre-programmed temperatures to suit your needs. For example. I changed the temperature of the pork to 145 from 170. Very easy to use and to clean. I like how you just stick it the oven door and walk away-the alarm is very loud and goes off until you turn it off-I can hear it wherever I am in the house.
