Have looked at this pepper mill for several years....the weight and feel of this pepper mill are great..and I really liked the fact that you fill the peppercorns from the slide drawer opening on the mill, instead of having to take off the top.....however, when putting it to real use, found it lacking. The turn mechanism on the top of the mill feels like it is catching on the peppercorns....it is not a smooth operation and for the dinner table, that is not acceptable...I was not happy with the real use application of this mill and have returned it. |

We had purchased the peppermill prior to the salt mill. We loved it so much that we went on-line and purchased the salt mill, and it hasn't disappointed us.The quality, appearance and performance of these Perfex products are outstanding. |

For many years I have been searching for the perfect pepper mill,and at last have found it.The Perfex pepper mill is about as perfect as one is likely ever to find.It's cast aluminum body is simple,plain,and unadorned;it's crank action,adjustable grinding mechanism produces a generous even grind with every turn;and its wide side-mounted trap door makes filling this grinder a genuine pleasure with no errant peppercorns spilling onto the counter and ,inevitably,onto the floor.All this,coupled with it's sturdy construction[liable to last several lifetimes]makes this grinder the answer to my lifetime search. |

This is the first pepper grinder I've ever used that didn't turn out to be flaky. It is easy to use, pretty to look at, and 100% awesome in terms of functionality. In fact, I would be extremely surprised if I ever needed to buy another. |

I have head many peppermills---------but this one is the absolute best that I ever owned.
I seems like it was special made for the fit of my hand--no slipping..moving--dropping..or straining to handle this one.
It is sooooo easy to clean..just wipe it down with the sponge or cloth....and don't fuss over the drying issue either..cause its wash and wear.Quick wipe / no wipe..it works either way,
Turning handle is the perfect loop action (at least for me ) it turns in a snap one --two --three !
Excellent adjustment for size underneath...easy to the left or to the rightfor coarse to fine !!
My favorite part...the door for filling this mill...no more screwig and unscrewing the top of the mill to fill....here you have a EASY door that opens with a fingernail !!
My clear number 1....I suggest you try it...and hope that you love it too ! |

Scandalously expensive but definitely the best quality pepper mill you will ever own. The front-loading feature means ease of refill and no resetting of grind after every refill. Great design, great quality - but the price makes it a luxury bordering on decadence. |
