| by Margaret (Denison, IA) 1 review I was tired of the spills and leaks of my previous drink containers, so I am thrilled with the truly sealed lid. It is very sturdy and can be laid on its side or even upside down with no leaks. (Did discover that I got a bit of leaking if I over filled it so that the overflow spilled into the threaded cap area.)
I haven't tested it on hot liquids yet, but it holds iced drinks VERY well. Ice can last several days if I don't refill it very often! (That's with starting out with mostly ice filling the thermos.) Easy to clean, too!
I am thinking of giving Thermos Leak-proof Backpack bottles for Christmas. |

| Best in class |

| by Paul (Arcata, CA) 1 review I am the person that spends wayyy too much time search for the "perfect" item for my particular use. I found it in this. I can make a large latte at 8:00 in the morning and sip on it for hours and it is still hot at 11:00 or 12:00. As far as cold goes I've had ice in it for 16 hours in a warm Kauai cottage. It is that good. It seals perfectly and cleans up easily. If you won't settle for less than the best then this is the one. |

| Great product |

| by Roger (Henderson, NV) 1 review I received one of these as a gift and was skeptical. Once I started using it I immediately transformed into a spokesman. It seals perfectly and even has an additional locking device to keep the lid closed. Easy to open, shut, lock and unlock with one hand. As far as temperature goes, I have not used it for cold products. But for hot coffee, it is remarkable. I fill it with hot coffee in the morning and sometimes forget it and leave it in my vehicle. 10 hours later, the coffee is still scalding hot. Not just warm, but HOT! This Thermos is just fantastic. |

| Wonderful Product |

| by Owen (Oakland, CA) 1 review This is a GREAT Leak-Proof beverage mug, well worth the price. I've had several mishaps with coffee spills in my work tote and in the car. This is the first travel mug I have purchased from which I can sip my coffee, that keeps beverages very hot for an extended period of time and does not leak. |

| best leakproof thermos ever |
 | Would purchase again | Oct. 28, 2008 |
| by Mae Mae (New York, NY) 1 review I have tried several brands of leakproof coffee mugs that are suitable for travel. The problem with other types i have tried is that the leakproof mechanism is very hard to clean due to unreachable nooks inside the lid, and it eventually becomes gross and smelly. This mug has a simple but very effective leakproof lid (a big silicon seal that closes the drinking hole). i can turn it upside down and shake it, and not a drop will come out. i like that there's no handle so it is less bulky. also, the heat retention is very good--about 4 hours after i initially put my coffee in it is still piping hot. it is slightly pricey but well worth the money. |

| Great little bottle |

| by Adrienne (Rochester Hills, MI) 3 reviews I use this for my desk at work. There is still ice in the bottle after 24 hours and my water is always very cold - just the way I like it. If you fill it to the indentation at the top, it never leaks. |

| Love it! |

| by Lynn (Golden, CO) 1 review Really great! I use it everyday. It keeps my tea hot all day long and doesn't spill in my hiking pack, car, or gym bag. I'm going to buy three more for friends of mine. If you think about how much a regular travel mug costs ( $10 - $20) it's really not so expensive considering it's spill proof, stainless steel, and pretty nice looking. |

| Good but awkward while driving at first |
 | Would purchase again | Jul. 7, 2008 |
| by Mark (Chicago, IL) 4 reviews The product does exactly what it claims and looks beautiful. When driving, the flip up lid can block your vision unless you cock the bottle to one side or another. It's a little strange, but I got used to it. |

| Great even if you don't have backpak |
 | Would purchase again | Feb. 18, 2008 |
| by Frances (East Rockaway, NY) 5 reviews I was really looking to replace an older model of thermos but settled on the backpak one. Its been a long time since I had a backpak but this works even on the front seat of car. It does not spill when it falls. I was so pleased i ordered it for my daughters. Little did I know one daughter had already ordered the same one and was happy to hear she was getting another.
This thermos keep beverages hot for hours.. much better than earlier models of thermos.
happy traveling around all day with warm coffee/tea fran |

| A tad expensive but well worth the price |
 | Would purchase again | Jan. 18, 2008 |
| by Shane (Troutdale, OR) 1 review Absolutely the best transport for my daily dose of caffeine, hands down. There are 3 of these in my household now (one for me, one for the wife, and another to keep with my hunting/camping gear.) The very first backpack bottle I purchased is still in use today and going strong. It's been in use well over 4 years!
My dad ended up getting one when he noticed I could safely stuff the bottle in my pack without leakage and have hot coffee all day long. He has kept cold beverages in his and claims it works equally as well for keeping drinks cold.
It also doesn't give the coffee a bad taste as some of the other travel mugs on the market do. Since it keeps it air tight it also keeps the flavor better too.
My only complaint would be the price, but you do get what you pay for so I guess I can't complain too much.

| Stays Hot |
 | Would purchase again | Mar. 18, 2007 |
| by Deborah (Cerritos, CA) 1 review I wanted a travel mug this size that keeps coffee hot for several hours and this does! Not just warm but hot!! Don't need to worry about spills either which is just a bonus. I put my coffee in it at 7am and it is still hot at 3pm. Even my husband commented one night when he was doing after dinner dishes that the remaining coffee was hot enough to be uncomfortable. I bought a 16 oz travel thermos from Starbucks first and it did not come close to the performance of this product. Only complaint was the price, but in this case you are paying for a good product. |
