The only downfall I see with this is the handle is a little uncomfortable to hold (it is almost like a stalk of celery with the curved pieces pressing in the hand a bit) - if you have a dishtowel or pot holder on the handle you don't notice it a bit. I would highly recommend this even with the slight drawback.

I prepare a lot of cheesecake bon bons as donations for several nonprofits when they host public receptions. I needed something to melt the chocolate in to coat the tiny cheesecake bon bons. This double boiler saved the day! Very easy to use. Works like a charm! Saves me hours of work.
