Ritz White Floursack Towels:
In another era, people cut up empty flour sacks and used the
absorbent,
pure-cotton material for everything from drying pots to embroidery. Flour
sacks are hard to find today, but the towels are still in demand. These extra-large towels are made of the same durable cloth and come with an already sewn hem. Set of 4, each approximately 29" x 28". Machine-wash.

by Judith (Cambridge, MA) 1 review I have been ordering Ritz flour sack towels for a long time, but this most recent order is disappointing. The towels have shrunk way down to a very small size and the cotton is rough, thin and gauzy. I sent cooking.com an email about the product to let you know how disappointed I am in the quality of the towels. I bought a batch of these towels from another supplier and they are just as bad. Apparently, the manufacturer of these once fantastic towels has succumbed to producing a sub-par product Made in China. It is too bad as I am now searching for a new and good quality flour sack towel for our gourmet cooking needs. It is so hard to find a quality flour sack towel so I am really sad that Ritz no longer qualifies. I can no longer recommend this product to friends. Thanks, Judith Benfari
by Leon (Crawfordville, GA) 6 reviews The only other floursack towels I've used were from William Sonoma. Their towels were much larger and more expensive. However, the quality of the fabric didn't seem a great deal better, compared to the price difference. Although these towels by Ritz are smaller they work much better for drying kitchen counter, kitchen sink, etc. The price allows me to buy more and use for many other jobs around the house. If a larger size is needed these towels aren't for your purpose.
by Sharon (Chesterfield, VA) 1 review This is the 3rd or 4th time I've purchased these towels. Have embroidered several sets as gifts. Always the same size, nice hem and washs nicely. Will continue to purchase.
by Mary (Lake Lure, NC) 1 review I did write to inform you that one of the towels had flaws or tears at one end. I did not want you to replace it as the replacement would cost more than the towel was worth..........postage to send to you & postage to return to me.
