by Susan (MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA) I have some excellent bar mop towels with a blue stripe that went well with my pre-remodel kitchen, but the blue doesn't go with cherry cabinets and golden granite. These have the advantage of being all white, but are not quite as thick as my previous set. They work well enough, and it's hard to remember what I did before I had piles of bar mop towels at my disposal to wipe up wet counters.
by Sarah (SUDBURY, MA) This was an extremely disappointing purchase. The cloths are coarse, not absorbent and have a cheap, ragged appearance. I had hoped that these would be of the quality of some similar cloths I had previously purchased from another source -- but they don't come close. I have washed them in the hope that the problem was a finishing chemical or long storage, but they have not improved. I will have to use them for cleaning rags.
While I may continue to use cooking.com for purchase of goods from identifiable manufacturers, I will not be purchasing any more soft goods or items for which I am not able to confirm the probable quality.
