It was also the highest priced , but in a range from $9 to $20 I thought it worth the investment in a scoop that would not disappoint me. There is another plus, this one is made in the USA. This scoop serves well by cutting through hard ice cream and effortlessly releasing it into my serving dish. I am well pleased. One drawback, it is not dishwasher safe, but that is a minor inconvenience to me.
