love it... this is my second Chantal teapot... would never own any other kind... I use it daily and after 15 years the whistle on my old still sounded great... just looked a little tired after all the use... Buy quality and cry once!

Working Copper Kettle

This is the only copper kettle we could find that is made for using rather than decoration. It has a heavy aluminum base and stainless steel interior.
Commercial chefs don't use teakettles - maybe that's why copper ones are rare.... This is a beautiful addition to our copper pots. Well designed and sturdy with a lovely 2-tone whistle.

Whistling Tea Kettle
Customer ReviewWould purchase againJul. 4, 2008
by Heather (Plantation, FL)  1 review
I have had two teakettles like this and this is over many years. I searched for exactly the same kettle when I needed to replace it.

The quality is excellent - my first kettle lasted for many years. It has the best design of any kettles I have seen on the market and looks great just sitting on the stove. It is big enough to make a good pot of coffee but not so big that is it takes forever to boil.
I love the sound of the whistle. It is truly like a fog horn and I can hear it from any room in my house - it is not piercing and loud like most whistling kettles but it has a very non-irritating sound. It starts to whistle softly at a low boil and gradually gets louder.

This kettle is the best and I wouldn't think of buying any other style or brand.
