Some reviewers reported problems with cracks, this was not my experience. It's sturdy construction coupled with the marbles' crystalline high gloss finish makes this pastry board an excellent feast for the eye and utility. I purchased a marble rolling pin to match the board- this made one dynamic duo! I recommend this product to lovers of beauty and quality.
