The quality reminds me of the equipment that we use in our business. This fryer performs at a high level and will satisfy 99% of the people who buy it. The design and ease of cleaning will astound you! Everything comes apart and can be cleaned in about 5-10 minutes. It still looks like it just came out of the box after using it for several months!!. The oil filtration design is also ingenious. By allowing the oil to be drained and stored outside the cooking area, the unit will not develop grease "build-up" in the areas that normally are hard to clean. Our family likes to cook Mexican Chimichanga's on a weekly basis. Our previous fryer could only cook 2 Chimi's at a time and the recovery time to heat the oil back up was about 10 minutes. This unit allows us to cook 4 Chimi's at a time and the recovery time is instant. You will not be disappointed if you buy this unit!!

Fryer started to heat up, then went into fault and would not heat up again. After a call to T-Fal's 800 number, they shipped another heating element/control. Enjoyed an excellent fried dinner this evening. Great investment.
