Polder Programmable Thermometer with Timer:
Take the guesswork out of preparing perfectly cooked meats and poultry using this programmable thermometer with timer. The large digital readout displays food's internal temperature while cooking. Pre-set the temperature you want (from 32 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit); a loud, 5-minute alarm sounds to let you know when the inner temperature is ready. Features a memory for frequently used settings. The magnetic backing lets you attach the timer onto the outside of your oven door during the cooking process. Please note this item is not designed for use with barbeque grills. Heat-resistant probe wire measures 43-in. long. Also measures Celsius. Runs on a single AAA battery. Not microwave-safe, and can not be used with oil.

by Dan (Las Vegas, NV) 8 reviews I already use this product, and it works just as advertised. Having a meat probe connected to this alarm insures that your roast will be done to your preference (think rib roast, medium rare for me! mmmm)
The timer is great for cookies or batches of any baked good. After the timer alarm goes off, the setting is automatically back to the same time. Just put the next batch in and start the timer without resetting.
by Richard (Wetumka, OK) 2 reviews I purchased the programmable thermometer and just loved it. I used it the day I opened the package. The ease of use and features make this a winner. I have owned other thermometers and they do not compare. I love it.
by Terri (Vallejo, CA) 2 reviews My daughter who is a cook for the Hilton Hotel in Sacramento was delighted with her Christmas present. She has a new baby and the ability to set the thermometer for an internal temperature to sound an alarm will be very helpful. This way when she is busy with my granddaughter, dinner will not be over cooked.
