by Laura (Fairfax, VA) 1 review This is a wonderful griddle except for its fatal flaw that everyone else has mentioned--the run-off well around the perimeter. It wreaks havoc on omelettes and anything else that has the misfortune to not be centered on the griddle. Also, the handles get WAY too hot--they should have been made from a non-conductive material. Because of this, I can't say that it's a good value for the money, as it was extremely pricey. However, out of the other side of my mouth I would have to recommend it as there are no other griddles this large that also heat so evenly. So there you have it--this would be worth every penny if the design errors were fixed.

It got a 4 instead of a five because the grease valleys that surround the griddle, make it much smaller than the stated size and will pull your pancake batter into it if it is too close. Other than that it is a wonderful product. If they ever make one without the grease valley around the inside we will buy it immediately. Please forward that to the manufacturer.

Fits perfectly on the two front gas burners and once we determined the proper flame adjustment, the heat is even across the entire surface. The cooking surface is very smooth with the best non-stick approach I've ever seen. Highly recommend this product.
