No hand cramps, and less mess. The comfortable Flour Sifter by Good Grips features an innovative handle that's light years ahead of those awkward models of yesteryear. You don't squeeze it, just shake slightly, and the sifting mechanism produces perfectly sifted flour. Features top and bottom lids to keep sifter clean and your cupboard flour-free. Also has markings inside and out for 1- and 2-cup measures. Made of stainless steel.

by Ted (Birmingham, AL) 11 reviews Well-made like all OXO products. The side-to-side motion takes getting used to and, as others have noted, the motion can lead to a scattering of flour sideways. My only real negative is that it cannot handle a large quantity of flour very rapidly, particularly, for example, if you make more than one loaf of bread at a time. I would not recommend it for anyone susceptible to repetitive motion injury.
by Deborah (Valdosta, GA) 3 reviews While this product certainly does the job it's intended to do, and is a viable concept for cooks with arthritis (wherein squeezing the more traditional handle to work the sifter would cause pain or discomfort), the side to side motion is a little awkward, not as efficient, and can create rather a large mess.
by Rosalind (GODFREY, IL) 4 reviews This flour sifter was exactly what I was looking for and the price was right .Arrived at my door in a timely manner. It was great for all of my holiday baking. I do lots of baking with my grandchildren and they using it with no difficultly.
by Walter (Tuscaloosa, AL) 2 reviews This is an easy to use and very handy little sifter. Well made. Good value for the price.
The sifting mechanism takes a bit getting confortable with ( it does not use the usual squeeze handle), but my wife prefers it and she does most of the baking.
