by Georgene (Columbia, SC) 1 review I rely on Dutch ovens to prepare a lot of my favorite dishes, so I was disappointed when the porcelain of my VERY ancient one finally began to chip away (I'm 62 now & it had originally belonged to my mother!!). As I looked over the market to replace it, I found some wonderful ones but they were more expensive than I was able to handle. I found this one on the Food Network web page & it looked as if it would meet my criteria AND my price range -- and it absolutely DOES. I can make large pot roasts in it, great baked beans & I'm eager to try more. It's beautiful as well as extremely functional, the lid sits very well on it, it's not too heavy and I'm very, very satisfied with it.
