by Connie (Middletown, CT) 12 reviews I bought the three scoops not for ice cream but for baking. They work great for measuring out solid shortening and also for portioning muffin and cup cake batter.

Although I didn't buy it for ice cream. I use mine to measure out cookie dough. I have a smaller scoop that I use for tiny cookies and this one measures out a larger amount.
