Wanting to take care not to scratch the surface when steaming our veggies, which we do almost each night, i needed a reliable and useful steamer. This is it. It is large enough for my 5qt pot but can accomodate smaller pots as well. The handle makes it easy to lift out and cleans easily. Good investment for sure.
