The knives are of excellent quality and craftsmanship. It is night and day using these knives as opposed to our old, cheap set we had been using.

I was hand-washing them, but then I read on the info that they are dishwasher safe. The other day I was heart-sick to see the little red Wustof "sticker" came off of one of the knives. I had not realized that was a sticker until it was gone and all that's left is the white backing of the sticker.
So awesome knives, but if you like everything to look just so, and I do, hand-wash them.
