Preparing the Freezer Bowl:
The freezer bowl must be completely frozen before you begin your recipe. The length of time needed to reach the frozen state depends on how cold your freezer is – for best results, place the bowl to the rear of your freezer where it is coldest. In general, freezing time is between 6 hours and 22 hours. To determine whether the bowl is completely frozen, shake it. If you do not hear liquid moving, the cooling liquid is frozen. For the most convenience, leave your freezer bowl in the freezer at all times so you can take it out any time for immediate use.
Features and Benefits:
Freezer Bowl – The double insulated freezer bowl contains a cooling liquid between the bowl walls to create fast and even freezing. In general, the required freezing time of the bowl is 6 to 22 hours before use. Additional freezer bowls are available separately for making double batches or different flavors without interruption. For additional information on preparing the freezer bowl for use, please see below.
Base and Motor Unit – The base contains a heavy-duty motor that is strong enough to handle everything from thick, rich ice creams to smooth frozen yogurts to slushy frozen drinks . The base unit features a generously sized on/off switch, rubber feet to prevent slipping and keep the unit stationary while in use as well as cord storage to keep counters neat and safe when the unit is not is use.

An ingredient spout at the top of the lid is generously sized for pouring in ingredients and ideal for adding nuts, fresh fruit, candy pieces and more without interruption the freezing cycle.

by Cathy (Yorktown Heights, NY) 1 review I've been looking for an ice cream maker for quite a while. I read all the reviews and bought this one because most were happy with the quality of the finished product. I used the vanilla recipe that came with the machine and it was really VERY good! It didn't freeze as hard as i would have liked but it was delicious!
I would definitely recommend this machine - ESPECIALLY good quality for the price!
by carla (buda, IL) 1 review My co-workers gave me a food network store gift certificate for my birthday. They all know that I am a food network junkie. I have always wanted an ice cream maker. The price was too good to pass up. Have made vanilla ice cream and triple berry sorbet. Both of them churned and were ready for the freezer in 20 to 25 minutes. I definitely like this product.
by Peggy (Kent, WA) 1 review If you didn't have to freeze it after you made it to make it more solid but don't know how you would design it. Easy to use and easy clean up.My 11 yr. old grandson just made his first batch by himself and loves it.
by Steve (Duluth, MN) 9 reviews This machine works great and is simple in design. Easy to clean. I've made several flavors of ice cream and it is superior to factory made products.
by Wade (Knoxville, TN) 3 reviews i have used one before until it bit the dust. I ordered another one to replace it. We absolutely love making fresh sorbets. Nothing tops this product as far as I'm concerned.
