by Pam (Anaheim, CA) 1 review This ricer works great for mashed potatoes, but clean up is a problem. Do not immerse in water as water accumulates in the base portion. To drain this water you must stand it on end for a long period of time. I f this is not done it will drain wherever you put it for storage. Would recommend being able to separate base unit from the upper parts at the hinge. Also being able to separate the base handle portion, (green from white), would facilite cleaning and drainage. Otherwise it works great.
by Frances (Punta Gorda, FL) 2 reviews Potatoes were very good. Can't wait to try it to make German dumplings and spaezle. I wish there were instructions to use since I have never riced anything. Also was hard to take apart to clean or change blade. My husband had no problem though.
by patricia (Ukiah, CA) 1 review This is the first potatoe ricer I have ever used. It was recommended by American's Test Kitchen. It works really well. I'm not very strong and I have small hands so I find that if I only partially fill the hopper it is much easier to use.
