Great for pasta, and a good size for serving other things like salads, rice dishes, soups, hors d'oeuvres, nuts, etc., etc. They arrived in great condition, no chips or otherwise. They have a good quality "feel" to them, not too light, and definitely not a "chintzy" or "cheap" feeling. I highly recommend these!
