Nordic Ware Microwave Bacon/Meat Grill:
Nordic Ware's Bacon/Meat Grill is a healthy alternative to grilling on top of the stove. Instead of allowing your bacon or sausage to sit in grease as they cook, this grill has a raised cooking area so fats and oils drain away from the meats as they cook. A pouring lip allows you to easily drain away the excess fat. The grill has a round shape that rotates in the microwave, and a reversible, flat side that can be used for baking or defrosting other foods.

Had been looking and found the product had been discontinued from Rubbermaid. When found this one was not sure it would meet my expectations as the other one was perfect. However, when it arrived and used found it met and exceeded the previous one. Thanks so much for having the item in your line. Best buy ever on the internet.

by Lynda (Huntsville, AL) 1 review The product worked pretty well, but was EXTREMELY hard to clean; especially, after cooking a whole pack of bacon. Maybe if only a couple of slices were cooked at a time, the product would clean easier.
The cost of the microwave grill was reasonable, but after adding the cost of S/H, the total cost was too high.

by Ward (Saint Johnsbury, VT) 1 review I bought this bacon grill to -- surprise, surprise! -- grill bacon. It does this but requires constant tinkering to get the cooking time right.
My big complaint is the clean-up. With 16 grill bars it's almost impossible to get clean. Suffice it to say it takes as long to clean it as it does to do all the rest of the dishes combined.
The surprise was how hot the grill gets after just a couple of minutes in the microwave. I don't know what the material is, but it gets *hot*!
