Cuisinart White Convection Toaster Oven with Broiler:
Cuisinart combines conventional baking and broiling, convection cooking and toasting all in one with this convenient, compact-size oven with a 0.5 cubic foot capacity. Featured buttons include a Bagel button for browning bagels, muffins and thick bread slices evenly on all sides, a Defrost button, and a Reheat button that re-heats without browning. A combination setting allows you to do multiple tasks; for instance, you can combine the 4-Slice button, Defrost button and Bagel button to defrost, then perfectly toast 4 bagel halves. The oven will even handle the larger jobs, accommodating a 4.5-lb. chicken or a 9-in. pie, and the convection method reduces cooking time by up to a third. A state-of-the-art Exact Heat Sensor ensures that everything is cooked to perfection. The oven comes with a slide-out crumb tray, a baking/broiling pan (not nonstick), a 2-position oven rack, a time and temperature display, an automatic shut-off, and a cord storage area.
by Nancy (GREENBELT, MD) 6 reviews This toaster oven is the best I have ever had. I agree with other reviewers that the it takes a little to get used to pulling out the rack. I am using a wooden oven rack "puller" that I have had for years and never used. You must also be careful to not pull out the broiler pan and have it fall out of the oven. This inconvenience is more than compensated by the other qualities of the oven. I would recommend this to anyone.
by Thomas (Chattanooga, TN) 1 review I've only had my oven for a month but I've fallen in love with it. I use it 2-3 times a day. I haven't used my regular oven once since receiving my purchase and I've also put away my two slice toaster. I'm single and would highly recommend it to small households. I'm sure it will pay for itself in a short time because of the energy savings from not having to use my regular oven. One of the other reviews mentioned a " Design Flaw " in regard to the clock ; well I agree that it's strange that you have to set the clock each time you plug it in but it is so simple to do that I do not consider it a flaw - just weird. Weird though it is I'm very pleased with it.
by lewis (warner robins, GA) 2 reviews does great job broiling meats like thick pork chops and thick rib-eye steaks, baked Italian sausages using convection oven, also does great on toast !!!!
by Lecha (Fredericksburg, VA) 1 review After having a $15 toaster oven that lasted almost 10 years without fail, it was tough to spend this much on a new toaster... but our toaster is a big part of our life, and all of the phenomenal reviews for this toaster helped me take the plunge!
So far we love it! It's SO much more than a toaster - we bake in it almost nightly! ... and seriously, I didn't know how toast could be
by Eva (Plano, TX) 1 review I was pleased to find that the toaster oven worked as good as I had read about. I researched Consumer Reports and this was rated the best. They weren't wrong. I had a Delonghi before and it never got the toast right, and the reason I had to replace it was the door wouldn't close properly anymore. I initially thought this was a little expensive but it turns out to be well worth the money.
