Great balance, I like the lighter weight (although some do not) and, let's face it, the sharpest knife of it's kind around - and I am comparing it to more expensive top-of-the-line German and Japanese knives. I am now retiring from the reviewing business because I am starting to sound like a shill for the house. Just buy Global, and you won't be sorry!

I use it every day in my High School Culinary Arts class and always get finished before any of the other students because their knives are much harder to work with. This knife makes chopping,dicing,slicing and mincing a quick and simple task, and is especially worth the price. From now on all of my knives will be Global.
