It holds thin magazines, thick cookbooks, even my 3-ring binder books from Weight Watchers. It supports items at a great angle making it so much easier to read the recipes. The acrylic guard keeps the pages clean and and in place - no more having to try to hold down the page of interest to keep it from flipping. And when I'm done, I simply fold it up and store it in one of my drawers. I can't believe I waited to so long to get this!

Wasn't sure that I could find one like the last one I purchased at Williams-Sonoma but I googled your site and sure enough, I found one just like my old one only larger! Since I use a lot of recipes that I print off the computer, I especially like the way this holder completely accomodates a 81/2 by 11" paper as well as my over-sized cookbooks.
