The handle is too small in diameter, making it difficult for my adult male hand to grasp without the handle rolling. Anyone with grip problems or arthritis should stay away from this scoop! An oval handle design would be more functional for most people. The actual scooper provides adequate function, though it is difficult for me to accurately gauge since I cannot get a good grip on the handle. I had hoped this would be a nice replacement for my Oxo Good Grip scooper (good in all respects except that the rubberized handle traps water between the metal and the rubber, which oozes out during scooping). I will probably go buy another Oxo, and make sure it doesn't get into the dishwasher.
(AKRON, OH) Scoop looks good with 18/10 steel and the scoop is shaped nicely to roll out medium sized scoops of ice cream that look good in a dish. It seems well built to stand up to harder ice cream products.
