Cast Iron Cornbread Skillet:
With the use of this Cornbread Skillet, you won't have any problem dividing up the slices -- they'll already be perfectly shaped and ready to serve with a hearty winter soup or robust chili. The pan is made of solid cast iron and is divided into 8 sections.
Please note: This pan needs to be seasoned before use.
by Paula (FORT MILL, SC) 6 reviews The product itself was good, but smaller than I expected. However since there are only two of us the size is actually perfect.
by Tuwanna (FORT WASHINGTON, MD) 5 reviews This is another good purchase. I remember when we were younger, my mother had always baked corn bread in the oven in a skillet pan, so when I saw this pan I was thrown back. I haven't used this pan yet, because I've just purchase it, but I know that this will make it much more easier for baking corn bread and scones also. I like the fact that you don't have to do any cutting, it's already separated for me.
by Deborah (TAMPA, FL) 1 review This was a gift to my husband, He also loves to cook.I think it is one of the best items I have bought. We love using it.
by michael (houston, TX) 2 reviews Pay the extra money and get one that is already sealed and seasoned. It is not as easy as they say it is in the booklet. You also waste too mjuch time and energy by just placing it in the oven. At least it is not much money lost.
by Julia (URBANA, OH) 1 review This pan is smaller than I expected. It had a mar on the inside surface which looks like an imperfection was ground down. In my new Cooking.com catalog there is a Lodge cornbread/scone pan that is pre-seasoned and similarly priced. I'm sure it is a much better pan. I have several Lodge pans and love them. Unfortunately I can't send this pan back for the Lodge one because my husband make cornbread in it and the cornbread stuck and made a big mess.
