They are not as heavy duty as the upper end Calphalon lines but are much better than the cheap ones you see in kitchen and big box stores. Since I bought them strictly for eggs/omelets they work very well and the non-stick works great.

So far, the most impressive thing about these skillets is the even cooking. We've discovered we can cook at lower heat that with our previous pans and everything turns out the same, whether cooked at the edges or in the middle. When we're ready for an entire new set, these are the pans we'll buy.
