by Margaret (Princeton, WV) 3 reviews I love my KitchenAid products, especially my mixer. This attachment just adds one more plus to the mixer. Convenient, heavy duty, saves from adding another appliance in the kitchen. much easier to clean than the standard electric can opener. Since I cook a great deal and like to have my small appliances where I can just reach out and touch them I leave the opener on my mixer and have almost everything I need in one spot. Just wish it had a bottle opener on the attachment.

However, considering it serves a very basic function, and I can get additional features like a blade sharpener on a cheap $10 stand-alone opener, I find this to be considerably over-priced.
