by Sheri (WHITE SALMON, WA) Sheri from Washington state Well, it's definitely made from tinplate, which means it bends easily, so care must be exercised not to put too much force or pressure into using it & in where you store it. I have looked everywhere for a larger donut cutter in stainless steel & cannot find one this size or larger!! Norpro makes a smaller stainless steel, but unless you want very small donuts, tinplate is all that's available. I even looked on restaurant/baker's supply sites & didn't find stainless steel. A disappointment as I'm sure that after a few years it will be worthless.
