Handsome enough to leave permanently in place on a counter, this maple board will convert any table into an efficient work surface. It has two 3/4" wooden bars that attach to the front and back of the board. Place the board on the counter or table so the bar that projects downward overlaps the edge nearest you. As you roll pastry dough, this bar will keep the board from shifting, and the bar projecting upward will keep the flour from spilling over. Use one side for dough and the other for chopping.

The ability to either lay it flat or angle it is great for bread, if kneading the angle keeps the flour off your floor, if rolling out can just sit it flat. Easy to clean but get the OXO scraper and its really a snap.
