Joyce Chen Saladacco Spiral Slicer:
Create Asian style salads and dramatic vegetable garnishes with Joyce Chen's Spiral Slicer. One setting makes paper-thin slices while the other produces clouds of spaghetti-like strands. It also makes julienne strips and half rounds for a variety of dishes. The slicer, with its stainless steel blades, is dishwasher safe.

by Sarane (GLENVIEW, IL) 2 reviews Bought this for my husband, who is retired and taking over daily cooking (I still work). We now have the most interesting and attractive vegetables and fruits. The most successful was a cold beet salad with the beets in neat curls. My daughter liked it so much she asked for (and will be getting) one for Christmas.
by Sarane (GLENVIEW, IL) 2 reviews I bought this as a gift for my husband, who has taken over cooking dinner since his retirement, and he loves it. He made spiral beets for a beet salad that wowed our guests at a recent dinner party, and he has used the shredder option to shred carrots and make them into nests for creamed vegetables. My daughter was so impressed that I am getting her one for Christmas. We have not tried it on anything except firm vegetables, so I don't know how it would work on something softer.
by Wendy (Indian Harbour Beach, FL) 1 review I bought this product to make vegetable pasta. It is very straight forward and works well for thick ribbon pasta. The angel hair pasta setting is tricky and the stands do not come apart easily. I was hesitant to buy this from other reviews but the machine works great and the instructions are very simple. I would purchase this if you do not want to make angel hair veggie pasta only.
by Monica (Wales, MA) 1 review I had to return this product TWICE, both times for extremely bad workmanship n the very cheap plastic.
I was very much looking forward to this gadget but both times the product had manufacturing problems (cheapo plastic led to these problems) that made it inoperable.
Joyce Chen should take an interest because this makes her brand look very bad.
