Create Asian style salads and dramatic vegetable garnishes with Joyce Chen's Spiral Slicer. One setting makes paper-thin slices while the other produces clouds of spaghetti-like strands. I was very much looking forward to this gadget but both times the product had manufacturing problems (cheapo plastic led to these problems) that made it inoperable.
Joyce Chen should take an interest because this makes her brand look very bad.

by Christine (Boston, MA) 1 review I thought the Joyce Chen Spiral Slicer was fantastic. It sliced zucchinis and cucumbers into angel hair thin strands in seconds. It made the healthiest spaghetti dinner I've ever eaten, and it was delicious! I tried using it with onions and will admit that I couldn't get it to work right - maybe I am doing something wrong? It more or less just juiced the onion. However, it worked fabulously with harder vegetables and fruits. Now my mom wants one. Definitely worth the money.
