I usually only make 1 cup at a time, and even though the free coffee sent with it seems very finely ground things are going well. The product info recommends medium-fine ground, so I may look for that in order to maintain good service. Thank you.

Even the plastic part of the mug gets over-heated. It does cool down quickly on the outside, though, so I still would recommend it. Easy to use, and shuts off immediately after brewing so no wasted electricity and no burned-out coffee maker.

For the price, this item delivers hot coffee for my hubby to take to work & I don't have to clean the filter, coffee pot, etc. We hope this new one lasts another 6-7 yrs.
by Linda (Georgetown, TX) 1 review After 3+ years of using my first one 2-3 times a day, it finally wore out. I looked everywhere for a replacement and was thrilled to find one here. I use it for 1-3 cups of hot coffee and because the cup area is so tall I can use any size cup or pitcher I have. I make iced coffee in it as well by brewing extra strong coffee and putting a pitcher of ice under the drip. I love it!!
