It doesn't take up much counter space because its more of a square shape, not rectangular. However, when I got the toaster in, the writing on the front of the toaster where the knobs are located were blue, not red like your picture shows. You need to update your picture. Some people may not like the blue on the front.

Number one, it takes an extraordinary time to toast anything, and number 2, we are unable to toast 4 slices of toast at one time. It's a nice looking appliance, but doesn't perform as well as my old toaster. I would not recommend this to my friends and family.

I do like the option that allows you to raise the toast so that you can grab it. In the past I was forever poking at the toast with a knife to get it out of my toaster.

Only ding I can give this toaster is that previously own TeFal toasters had a setting for toaster strudel and such that heated the middle through the use of a button.
