Jura-Capresso MT500 Coffee Maker:
"Best Overall. Best Value," The Wall Street Journal 2006.
Advanced technology and new materials make this Capresso Electronic Coffee Maker a standout in its field. New to this coffee maker is its unique, high gloss alloy body and stainless steel-lined heating system that eliminates contact with aluminum, greatly reducing the need for decalcifying. In under 8 minutes, you'll have up to 10 cups of flavorful, fully aromatic coffee, and with its drip-stop feature, you can even grab a cup in the middle of brewing!
Revolutionary in many ways, this machine brews up to 50% more quietly than most other coffee makers, and comes with a charcoal water filter (with reminder light that tells you when it needs replacing) that removes chlorine up to 83%. Other features include a thermal carafe that keeps coffee hot up to 4 hours, drip-free pouring spout, soft touch controls with illuminated display, special setting for making 3 to 5 cups, easy-read external water level indicator, permanent Size 4 GoldTone Filter (included), 24-hour programmable digital clock/timer, and concealed cord storage. Auto shut-off.
by Trudi (Azle, TX) 2 reviews I purchased the MT500 Capresso because my tried and true coffee maker quit working around Christmas 2008. I wanted a quality coffee maker for a reasonable price. The reviews of this coffee maker were great so I purchased the product. I have used the Capresso for several weeks. This coffee maker far exceeds my expectations. The Capresso makes a great pot of coffee in 6 minutes or less. It is easy to pour, looks great on the counter, and the pot keeps the coffee warm for about 2 hours. I would highly recommend the Capresso to coffee lovers.

by Suzu (Vancouver,, BC) 2 reviews The only problem was the manual was not sent with the product which made it difficult to use initially. Had to go on line to get that manual. Is it supposed to be sent with the product? If not, it is important because it isn't common sense how these appliance to day are to be used. Thanks.
