It has a 200-watt motor with a stainless steel blade to grind whole beans for the freshest taste and the richest aroma. It has a heavy-duty motor housing and bowl with a hi-impact top cover. Its sleek design provides an elegant look, and comes in four smart colors. To use, simply push down on the center top cover and your beans will grind to the consistency desired. Remove the top cover and bowl and pour your ground beans into your coffee maker. Other features include a dual interlock system that locks the top cover in place before grinding, a pulse control, and etched markings to adjust the amount of grinds to your liking.

by Susan (Eau Claire, PA) 3 reviews This is a great product. I always thought I liked the burr grinders better but this blade grinder is even nicer. It doesn't make the static mess that burr grinders do. I expect to be using this grinder for a long time since it is a KitchenAid product.
