by Melissa (Conway, AR) 1 review It's easy to use, easy to clean, and the extra large feeding tube is great for chopping/slicing large items like cucumbers. I can crush graham crackers for crust in no time, and even use it to make bread dough. The 7 cup bowl is usually more than adequate for the job at hand. I use this more often than any other item in my kitchen!
I'm much happier with the DLC7 model than other cuisinart models I have seen, namely because of the bowl and lid assembly. This unit is much easier to fit together than any other model I've tried. The lid and bowl lock together easily, and the unit will not start unless the components ARE locked together, which is a great safety feature.
Overall, an excellent piece of equipment - I highly recommend it!
