VillaWare ProPress Panini and Contact Grill:
Panini is Italian for little grilled sandwiches or snacks. Many favorite bistros are now featuring these tasty grilled sandwiches on their menu, but why go out - you can make your own delicious version right at home! The panini grill, also called a contact grill, is two-sided and features a nonstick surface so your sandwiches and snacks easily remove once cooked. Designed with a locking handle and a floating hinge system so you can grill food up to 3-in. thick - grill chicken breasts, seafood steaks and more. For healthier dining, any excess oils and fat drain into a side channel then out a side spout and into your own small bowl or container (the container is not included - you must use one of your own). The panini/contact grill has an adjustable temperature control and power-on and ready indicator lights. Cleaning is as simple as wiping the nonstick plates with a soft, damp cloth after the panini grill has cooled off and been unplugged. The panini/contact grill stores upright with a hidden cord. Please note: grilling plates are non-removable.

by Thomas (Murray, UT) Our first panini grill by a different vendor arrived with a broken locking mechanism. We are very pleased with the VillaWare grill and use it frequently.
by Denise (EARLHAM, IA) 3 reviews This panini grill is the best....makes great sandwiches! We find ourselves having sandwiches at home and not having Subway or some other takeout food. However, after grilling on it on two different occasions (pork chops & steak) I have purchased a grill pan (le creuset...love it) as I found this grill WAY to hard to clean...from now on it is for sandwiches only! However, it did grill the meat better than my George Forman...just too hard for cleanup.
by Katherine (MCKINNEY, TX) 1 review This panini maker is terrific. I use it all the time for all types of sandwiches. I would definitely recommend it. For cleaning, I find that a dish scrub brush and some hot water (with an extra bowl for the water to pour into) work best. The crevice tool and tiny pan it comes with are not efficient.
