by Darryl (Palatine, IL) 1 review When the shipment arrived, I opened the kraft box to find the Wusthof box inside. It had been shrink wrapped, but incredibly, one end had been opened with a knife and was still open. Inside the opened end I saw the aluminum case, within a bubble wrap envelope. In remainder of the cavity, wadded up paper had been stuffed, along with the 4 knives, rubber banded together, their blades in plastic envelopes. There was nothing but the wadded up paper to keep the contents of the box from spilling out into the kraft box. Around the Wusthof box were a few loose tubes of sealed air; not enough to secure the inner box and keep it from moving about during shipment. This packaging for a $200 knife set! I returned the set and requested an exchange for a sealed set of knives.
