The glass container holds 40-ounces and comes with a 2-oz. measuring cap in the cover. The bar blender opens at both ends for easy food removal and cleaning.

I even had a commercial blender that was purchased at a restaurant supply house and two of the blades broke. You will be very happy with this blender. Not all the buttons to push which actually do nothing, but to make cleanup longer.
