The speed on this bar blender is continuous for smooth blending; a pulse option is great for using for chopped foods. It is equipped with a 500 watt motor, a durable, all-metal drive system and a PowerBlend stainless steel blade that removes for easy cleaning. The glass container holds 40-ounces and comes with a 2-oz. measuring cap in the cover. The bar blender opens at both ends for easy food removal and cleaning.

by Connie (SAN LEANDRO, CA) 1 review I purchased a beehive blender when they FIRST came in the market. A couple of years ago, I worked it to death. (I still have it just in case I can fix it) I purchased a more expensive blender, but it was not the same. It just did not mix well and it left chunks in my sauces. It took me a while to FINALLY find the beehive blender. It does make alot of noise but ITS WORTH IT !!! and that just lets you know how powerful it is. I was pleased then and I am pleased now.
by JOHN (ROUND LAKE, IL) 1 review Years ago when I was going through blender carafes (the plastic and glass type broke a lot) making ice drinks, I asked a friend whom worked at a bar part time what they used. He showed me the Oster brand and demoed how well it worked, I was amazed and ponied up the money for a Beehive style with both the glass and the stainless carafes. Loved it, workhorse for years! Recently during a move it got tossed in the garbage by a well meaning friend whom thought is was an old, outdated non functional unit. Well, here it is, back with all the power and durability and I am happy. It cost less than what I paid years ago and it has only the glass carafe – still love it! Don't miss the stainless carafe and the new style of blades pulverizes ice with ease! Watch out, the blades are very, VERY sharp.
